acres with two reservoirs, wetlands, and prairie grassland.
Exhibits on the region's natural and built environments, history,
and sustainable living. An indoor Children's Discovery Area.
A reference library for citizens, student, developers, government
officials and anyone interested in the environment and sustainable
living. Outdoor demonstration areas on backyard wildlife
habitat, composting, water-wise gardening & High Plains living. A
self-guided nature trail featuring interpretive signs & wildlife
viewing areas. Opportunities
to participate in habitat restoration, research projects and environmental
studies.
