The High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) is open by appointment, Monday through Friday.

How do I get to the High Plains Environmental Center? The HPEC is located approximately 1.5 miles west of I-25 and just north of Hwy 34. From Hwy 34, turn north on McWhinney Blvd (one block east of Boyd Lake Avenue/Cty Rd 9), and then take your next left onto Piney River Drive. The HPEC is the big green house, 1854 Piney River Drive, just over the bridge on the east side of the road.
